Oracle reported fiscal 2027 first-quarter results on September 10, 2026, posting total revenue of about $19.3 billion, up roughly 30% year-over-year and above the $19.14 billion analysts polled by LSEG had expected. Cloud infrastructure revenue was the standout, surging 121% to $7.4 billion, while total cloud revenue climbed 62% to $11.6 billion. Adjusted earnings came in at $1.92 per share, also topping estimates of $1.74.
The beat was driven by continued demand for Oracle's data-center capacity supporting AI workloads. The company said it closed more than $30 billion in additional AI infrastructure contracts during the quarter and reported GPU utilization above 97%, alongside adding 850 megawatts of data-center capacity. Oracle had disclosed an AI-related order backlog of $638 billion the previous quarter, and the September report showed that backlog beginning to convert into realized cloud revenue growth.
Oracle also raised its full-year guidance, now projecting total revenue of at least $90 billion for fiscal 2027, representing 34% constant-currency growth, alongside higher non-GAAP earnings-per-share targets.
The result cleared the $19.1 billion threshold comfortably. The Predict Six community anticipated this, with 77% forecasting Oracle would clear the bar, matching the actual outcome.
