Taylor Swift's "The Life of a Showgirl" returned to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated Oct. 10, logging its 13th nonconsecutive week atop the chart and its first time back at the summit since January. The comeback followed the Sept. 25 release of "The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore," a deluxe edition adding four new tracks โ€” "Patient Zero," "Cleveland!," "Babylon" and "Pink Clouding."

The reissue moved roughly 173,000 equivalent album units in its first tracking week, enough to retake the top spot after the album had fallen off No. 1 earlier in its chart run. Unlike the album's original October 2025 debut, which leaned on physical and digital sales, the Encore's return to No. 1 was driven primarily by streaming activity generated by the new songs, according to Billboard's chart analysis.

The result extended Swift's hold on the album chart into a second consecutive year and arrived the same week "Patient Zero" simultaneously topped the Hot 100 singles chart. The Predict Six community put 100% odds on this outcome, correctly anticipating the commercial pull of the Encore reissue.
